This Easter for whatever reason I have a slight PEEP OBSESSION. I blame it on all of the “Pinteresting” Ideas out there. I’ve been excited to do all sorts of PEEP related/inspired projects this Easter. In fact, stay tuned for what else I did with my stash of bazillion PEEPs this morning!
I couldn’t wait to share these Mason Jar Smores with everyone!
After EPIC FAILURES of test runs from ideas that I’ve seen on Pinterest and in magazines I finally came up with not only a fool proof recipe but one that looks good too!
I decided upon a mixture of chocolate covered PEEPS and then a mixture of colored uncovered PEEPs to keep it bright and Easter looking yet still give a good meltable chocolate. The M&Ms are cute but don’t melt very well. I love my chocolate with a passion but, when it doesn’t melt down correctly it can RUIN a dessert all together.
I was already melting both white and milk chocolate for my NOT SO PEEPTASTIC MORNING…

SO I dipped 3 Bunny PEEPs per mason jar.
Then I started layering my jars – (Thank you to my Drane kids for your help – for about 30 seconds)
Layers went like this:
1/2 cup M&Ms
4 Sm. Hershey Bars
3 colored PEEPs 3 Chocolate Covered PEEPs
1/2 of Graham Cracker Bunnies
Then with some price tags I wrote the directions for baking the Smores.
I finished them up with some clearance fabric I picked up at Joanne’s and a little raffia ribbon!
Viola!
