Just dip the PEEPs in your melted chocolate of choice and roll in your sprinkles. (I found that it’s best to work quickly with the PEEPs in the chocolate so to not melt the marshmallow) However, this means working with one little chick at a time. That didn’t help maters regarding three little people vying for my attention during all of this. (Why is it that God gave kids the ability to just “smell” that Mom has put too much on her plate for the day and hence forth proclaim a day of anarchy?!)
Why? Why? Why?
Did I think cramming three HUGE, time consuming projects into a single morning would possibly be okay? It was too cold for kids to be outside…the baby was boycotting her morning nap… & in mastering her potty skills the two year old was still running to the potty every 20 minutes yelling for Mom to come help.
Another idea I had was to make a PEEP bouquet… HAAA HAAA!!! Oh am I so funny….
I had seen similar ideas and thought – “No big deal… just like making flower arrangements.”
The idea was to use toothpicks to secure the PEEPs to the styrofoam.
Not only were they not holding themselves in place very well but as I was shoving the toothpicks through their little heads, it was smashing them and because my hands were so sticky they were getting deformed. At this point it was 11:30 – Kids and I both had low blood sugar, sticky fingers and were just plain old irritated and frustrated. So I did the most wasteful thing a girl could possibly do and threw this darn thing AWAY! Sorry little chicks… this chick is DONE with you PEEPs!!!
